I have to admit, when I first saw this pink trench coat, it took a few minutes until I dared to reach for it and take it to the dressing room.
On the one hand, I really thought “that’s a fascinating color”, and on the other hand it somehow was a shocking one as well.
However, I was shopping for a particular look, which I was already picturing in my mind. And that look included a cool trench coat (even though I was actually looking for something in either dark green or red).
After I tried the pink one on, I thought “okay, that works too”.
I found this pink trench coat at Zara. And here again, I really like the fact that I can wear it either as a trench coat, or as a dress. So, in order to give this look a special touch, I wore the trench coat strapless.
Underneath the coat / dress I’m wearing jeans from Topshop.
At first I wanted to wear pink shoes with this look, however then I thought that might be too much of a “Barbie look” for my personal taste. Therefore, I went with orange colored Valentino sandals.
The Louis Vuitton Petite Malle purse with the monogram print that I’m wearing with this look, was inspired by the iconic suitcases of the luxury brand. This little beauty is perfectly wearable during the day, as well as in the evening.
And finally, as I love hats and because it was a little windy that day, this accessory had to be part of this look.
