Hello my dear ones!
Today I would like to share another great look with you, which includes another great signal color – red!
It’s particularly the combination of red and pink which I love so much about today’s look. I know I could just keep it very simplistic and say “combining those two colors is super trendy currently” or something like that.
But to me, the color red expresses so much more! Not only is it a very feminine color, but it is also a way to express sensuality. And at this point, let me tell you this, it is not just wearable for red carpet events or as sexy lingerie.
However, talking about color symbolism would take it a notch too far now, even though I believe it is a very interesting subject.
And please, don’t give in to the prejudices that “red is not well combinable”. If you ask me it is the exact opposite! I believe it is great to combine with for instance navy blue, green, or pink ;).
For today’s look, I have combined an amazing, chunky hand-knitted red cardigan by the Greek label Mum’s Handmade, with a shiny, pink colored cashmere sweater by Jadicted. And by the way, this lovely sweater would also look stunning just with a nice pair of jeans and some sweet high heels.
For those of you who have been following my blog, you might recognize these super cute pleated pants which I discovered at a boutique in Berlin. I am still so in love with the color gradient, from dark to bright pink.
And in order to match my accessories to the rest of my look I decided to keep it all in red tones. The red Runaway bag by Fendi and the matching red sock ankle boots completed my look nicely.
I am also wearing an adorable rose gold Y ring, gemmed with a red-pinkish rubellite by York Jewelry. The jewelry designs are all so beautiful that you truly have the agony of choice here.
My hair accessory, by Vishnu Concept is made of plated gold and includes cute little red roses. This brand is known for their sophisticated and creative accessories.
