Good morning cuties!
I am finally, back home! Berlin was great and everything, but I am not sure if you can imagine how much work and stress a fashion week brings with it.
And if you think I can just start relaxing now, then this is unfortunately not how reality looks like for a fashion blogger. Now it is time to go through all the thousands of pictures we took, prepare new blog and Instagram posts, so that I can keep you guys entertained and informed 😉. And of course, we are already preparing again for the Paris fashion week. However, I am not going to lie, all the exhaustion and the stress are worth it and as long as I am enjoying it, I am happy to do it.
This amazing velvet dress is another stunning creation by Dawid Tomaszewski. I will be honest, I had to give it back after this photo shoot because it is from his autumn / winter collection ’18, which was presented at his fashion show. But I can assure you, as soon as it is available in stores, it will be mine!! Well, at least one of them 😊.
My first reaction when I saw this dress at his studio was…. Well, imagine a 5-year-old freaking out in a candy store. I think that comes pretty close to my reaction. So, Dawid had no other choice than to lend me this dress for a photo shooting. THANK YOU DAWID!!!
And on top of it, I also got to wear this wonderful, khaki-colored coat made of a mohair-mix.
Isn’t it funny, how sometimes you just look at a fashion piece and right away you have a picture in your mind how you would style it or you can even see yourself already wearing it. This was exactly what happened when I saw these two amazing pieces by Dawid Tomaszewski.
However, don’t get me wrong. I do too have days where I stand in front of my closet and am literally lost. You could probably call it a “fashion blackout”. Some days styling looks comes just naturally, as if I was born to do it and don’t even have to think about it, and some days I am just lost and really there’s nothing, but blank.
Luckily, styling this look came naturally and I combined the dark-purple, velvet dress with a lovely, black turtleneck sweater. In order to spice it up a little bit, I added a nice Gucci belt with golden GG logo to the coat.
Matching this look nicely, I decided to wear my stylish, tubular-shaped ankle boots by Yeezy.
And to complete my look, I was wearing a wonderful, purple-colored vintage Chanel bag with gold hardware and a lovely matching gold Y ring with an amethyst by York Jewelry. This ring harmonized nicely with the color tones of my look and it is simply a beautiful piece of jewelry to wear.
Thank you for reading my blog and I hope I was able to inspire you with this gorgeous look today. Stay tuned for what’s coming up next on Blondwalk.com! I wish you all a lovely Sunday!
