Happy Tuesday and hello my dear ones!

“Forget the prince and keep the shoes!”

Isn’t that the best piece of advice a fashionista could possibly get?

Okay, jokes aside… (even though this statement is meant to be funny).

I think I can undoubtedly say that most of us women have already went through a frustrating relationship, or even ended up with a broken heart.

I mean honestly, it is really no wonder when you think about how females have been growing up and all the social paradigms that we have been taught from an early age on.

Just think about all the fairytales and Disney movies young girls grew up with.

There was always a princess (or an unfortunate girl) in need that had to be saved by a noble prince. And even though in the fairytales the characters always fell desperately in love with each other and lived happily ever after, reality is much different.

In reality, not all relationships are meant to last. Especially these days it seems to be more and more difficult to find the right partner for a “happily ever after”.

So yes, sometimes you end up regretting the poor decisions you have made, however, always keep in mind that every mistake you might have made and everything you had to go through is a lesson learned 😉.

I am very excited about the launch of our new capsule collection LOOKABE x BLONDWALK and truly hope that we were able to create something all of you like and enjoy.

This time we have included a few more color variations and different designs to the collection.

I have styled this cool, burgundy-colored statement hoody by LOOKABE x BLONDWALK with a beautifully matching silk skirt from H&M.

And in order to spice up my look a little more I added some fabulous accessories to it.

The leather Gucci invite print pump with their red ankle straps and crystal buckles are simply wonderful.

The off white leather, rounded point toe pump’s design was inspired by the invitations to the Spring Summer 2018 fashion show. The label presented their invitations in printed-paper wrapping which were decorated with stamped fonts and graphics inspired by the 18th century book “Decouverte de La Maison de Campagne D’Horace” by L’Abbé Bertrand Capmartin de Chaupy.

The print on the pump appears as a repetitive, hypnotic pattern depicting the Gucci logo as well as the phrases from the original design of the invitations.

In addition, I styled my look with a cute backpack by Louis Vuitton with the traditional monogram print. It really does not always have to be purses and bags, does it? 😉

On that note: when in doubt, remember - “forget the prince and keep the shoes!”

I hope you liked today’s look as much as I do and that I was able to inspire you again. I would also love to hear your feedback on the sassy statement hoody 😉.

Thank you for reading my blog and stay tuned on Blondwalk.com for more fashion inspirations!
