Today I would like to share another gorgeous look from Paris fashion week with you.
As you might have seen in my previous blog post, I went back to black 😉. I am aware, that lately, the majority of my looks were quite colorful and seeing me in dark-colored fashion has become a rarity.
Even though, there was a time when almost my entire wardrobe was equipped with colors such as black and grey.
This look is dedicated to darker colors, particularly shades of brown and black! By the way, brown is another trend color for this season. I can assure you, you will see it a lot, whether it is shoes, coats, purses or suits.
I have to admit, I never felt like brown would be my color to wear, however, this season I did give it a try and I was more than positively surprised 😊.
How do you feel about second chances? This wonderful, brown leather skirt by Liviana Conti is an absolute must-have if you ask me. I guess, I should rather say it is a proven trend, as I honestly cannot tell you how many midi-length leather skirts I came across in Milan and Paris.
Nevertheless, what I love the most about this current trend is that you can effortlessly style an amazing look just by combining a midi-length skirt, some cute boots and a lovely sweater. This is exactly what I did for today’s fashion inspiration!
I styled my brown, midi-length leather skirt with a gorgeous sweater with leopard pattern in black and gold by Steffen Schraut. This lovely piece is from the German designer’s current collection and if you ask me, it is a great investment for this season, as leo patterned pieces are still in high demand.
Underneath the sweater, I am wearing a cute blouse in crème white by Danny Reinke. The young, Berlin based designer should definitely be on your radar, if he has not already. When we attended his runway show this July, I was simply blown away by his incredible collection. I can assure you, from this point on, you will see me in more gorgeous fashion pieces by Danny Reinke.
The black, quilted coat by Air Field did not only round off this look, but it also added a nice touch of classiness. The slightly flared design, along with details such as, the golden strip at the hem (harmonized perfectly with my sweater) and a removable collar, made of alpaca-knit with faux fur, make this coat a great winter companion. Furthermore, thanks to the slightly flared fit, this coat can easily be styled with different looks, ranging from casual to elegant.
In order to complete my look, I decided to combine it with black leather boots by Yeezy and a brown city bag by Balenciaga.The Yeezy boots were one of my prey from last year, but they were still a great investment. I always feel that it is hard to find stylish footwear that is still comfortable, especially when you have to “run” a half-marathon during events such fashion weeks. I found my Yeezy tubular ankle boots on jades24.com and I have good news for you, they are still available there 😉.
