Hi lovelies!

As promised, today I would like to share another lovely pastel tone look with you. In my opinion, this particular look is also this week’s highlight. Why?

Well this look is all about this year’s color of the year – violet! This year you certainly cannot do anything wrong with any shades of purple. It is THE color to wear!

My look’s purple shade today is lavender. And my closest friends know that I have always dreamed of a wedding somewhere in Tuscany in the middle of a huge lavender field. Why do I come up with weddings now? Well, the wedding season is slowly starting and you see more and more couples coming out of city halls or churches around this time of the year. So, sometimes I catch myself remembering how I always pictured my dream wedding to be, since I was a kid.

I was never a big fan of big, princess like weddings. I always pictured myself in a simple white silk dress, preferably an A-line, closed at the front and a little backless.

Enough talk about weddings, let us get back on the subject 😉.

My beautiful shade in shade lavender look was certainly inspired by all the nice fashion pieces that I have been seeing in major fashion capital, such as Paris or Milan.

Personally, I do also believe that this particular color radiates femininity and elegance.

Did you know that during the Roman times, only the aristocracy was privileged to wear purple and offences by ordinary people were punishable by death penalty?

Nevertheless, the color purple is associated with sensuality as well as passion and it has a very seductive effect on the opposite sex.

I have acquired both lavender-colored pieces of my look online at Front Row shop (lucky me 😁). Here comes the bad news, unfortunately both the oversize knit sweater, as well as the pleated silk skirt are already sold out there.

However, I have searched the web for similar pieces, which I have linked in this blog entry 😉.

In order to complete this gorgeous look, I have styled it with my stunning “Chiara Butterfly 100” sandals by Sophia Webster, a cute “Nile” bag and matching sunglasses with pink details by Chloé.

I hope you enjoyed this week’s theme – pastel tones – and that I was able to inspire you again. Maybe even that much that you will be adding pastel-colored fashion pieces to your wardrobes 😉.

Thank you for reading my blog and stay tuned for more lovely fashion inspirations on Blondwalk.com!
