Hello mix and match…

and welcome to my world of fashion!

Those of you, who have been following me for a while, are aware of my passion for combining different patterns and fabrics in order to create extraordinary looks.

This is exactly what I did that morning in Berlin. I looked in the closet at my favorite hotel to stay at when I am in Berlin (Hotel Zoo) and was trying to put an amazing outfit together in my mind.

Some of you may see this look and think “this is the coolest styling ever” and some of you might not understand it at all.

Anyways, that is completely fine, as tastes are different and thank God they are! Because, as I have said many times before, fashion is also a ways to express yourself, at least that is how I see it and it would be so boring if everybody was the same ;).

However, on that note I would like to mention that pattern mixed outfits are super trendy these days and I can assure you, you cannot do anything wrong, so why not just try it? ;). I have styled my entire look around these stunning, floral patterned pants by MOTHER.

I knew I just had to wear these super cool, straight fitted pants with black and white stripes along the sides of the legs. Thanks to the elastic waistband as well as the soft haptic, these flower power pants grant maximum wearing comfort!By the way, I found them in Düsseldorf at Jades (told you this store is a fashion heaven ;)).

You can easily style the floral pattern pants by MOTHER with cute high heels, or casually with sneakers or flats and they will still be an eye-catcher. I have combined them with a white statement t-shirt by Zoe Karssen and a grey, checked blazer by Anine Bing. This piece completed my mix and match styling perfectly! The “Madeleine Black & White” blazer is a true all-rounder thanks to its slim fit, side pockets and contrasting buttons. It matches to almost everything and is therefore a well-made investment.

In order to spice it up a little more, I decided to wrap a cool, blue belt in industrial design by Off-White around my waist. I had seen the yellow version of this belt in so many different magazines and on the internet that at first, I did not even want to have it, as too many people were already wearing it.

But, I guess I am a true fashion victim in this case and simply had to swim with the flow here.

So, first it was the yellow one, and now I have the blue one ;-)

. At first I was thinking to round off my look by wearing it with sneakers, however, then I dug out my royal blue colored satin pumps by Vetements X Manolo Blahnik, which ended up to be the right choice! Finally, I styled this cute bucket bag by the Austrian designer Marina Hoermanseder to my look, in order to complete it. This creative bag has a wristband, which you attach to your hand so you don’t actually have to hold it.

It might require a little time to get used to it, as it could give you the feeling of being chained to something at first ;). Just be a little bit careful with the gorgeous trinket applications around the bucket bag, as they are no good for delicate fabrics ;).

I hope I was able to encourage you for mix and matched stylings with today’s blog post and that you enjoyed reading my blog. Tune back in on Sunday for more fashion inspirations, on Blondwalk.com!
