Even though yellow is not really my preferred color, I catch myself more and more often shopping for yellow pieces. It is almost like a magical attraction.
I have found this particular yellow skirt by Vivetta at the Room Concept Store in Cologne. And what can I say… it was a magical attraction, I fell for it instantly.
This lovely piece has an outstanding design and a beautiful cut.
Do you know that feeling when you see something and you can picture yourself wearing it in a certain way? This was exactly how I felt when I saw this yellow skirt.
For this reason, I had to run back to Zara, right after my visit at the Room Concept Store, as I had seen a beautifully matching yellow shirt there.
I just had to get it, as it was the perfect shirt to combine it with the skirt, which was now mine!
And lucky me, the shirt was still available.
I was so excited about this look that I had to wear it for the next best opportunity that evolved.
My Accessories
I am wearing my extremely comfortable Gucci Mules with this combo, even though I believe this outfit would also look very cool with a nice pair of sneakers.
Finally, I decided to complete my look with a purse by Sophie Hulme. Do you want to hear the real reason why I picked this particular purse?
Basically, because when I showed one of my friends my skirt, they said “this reminds me of a banana”, and the purse has a little banana dangler on it. That’s why I thought “okay, then this little cute purse should work”.
