Today, I would like to start this entry by telling you a little bit more about what happens behind the scenes at BLONDWALK.
You might wonder why now…
Well, because recently things have been taking off now and despite the public opinion that blogging is a really nice thing to do, “it’s not really a job, bloggers just get all kinds of gifts, take pictures with it and that’s it”. Well that’s really not the case.
Some people really cannot imagine how much work lays behind a blog and that it really is a fulltime job.
I mean my day usually starts around 7 am when I decide what picture I want to share with my followers on my social media channels. But not a lot of people have an idea how much work it already took just to produce that one picture.
There is the selection of the outfit, the fitting, then the photo shooting, afterwards picking the right images, and finally the editing. This is my usual workflow behind that one picture that I share on social media.
So, by having descripted this work sequence I am sure, now you are aware that there is not just one person involved behind the production of the content that I am sharing.
I am very lucky that I have support covering all the business aspects of my blog as well as the content production.
At this point I would also like to take the time to extent a large thank you to all the lovely people and brands, stores and companies that have supported me since I started BLONDWALK (you know who you are 😉). It wouldn’t have been possible without you!
Let’s get to today’s look
I found this entire look at the Luxefashion2 boutique in Cologne.
The white blouse with black line-pattern by Kenzo caught my attention right after I entered the boutique.
I have combined it with jeans by Current Elliott and on top of it I wore a really cool black fringe skirt made of suede by Elisabetta Franchi.
Combining these two pieces in that way and with the over-size blouse allowed me to create a really nice layering look.
The black caging nets of glass studded slippers are by Alexander Wang should be still available at Farfetch.com. They matched lovely with the black leather bucket bag with little studded details by Elisabetta Franchi.
I hope you liked today’s look and that I was able to inspire you again. Stay tuned for the upcoming blogpost on BLONDWALK.com 😉
