I am sure many of you might feel the same way about certain type of fashion pieces. They are absolutely wonderful but you don't really find the right occasion to wear them. Mainly, because we get so overwhelmed sometimes with our everyday routine and let us be honest here, there is no way that some of these stunning fashion pieces actually work into busy time schedules. So, either you will end up being overdressed or those styles are just not fit the everyday use.
But who says that everyday use needs to be boring and monotonous?! I believe it is really just the way of combining pieces together 😉. Which is why I want to share this cool, casual look with you today!
I have found most of the pieces for this style at the Renate Abs Boutique in Essen.
The dark, olive-green, knit cardigan is by Roku. For those of you who have not heard of this brand before, I suggest you should definitely check it out, as they really have some pretty nice pieces in their collection.
Underneath the knit cardigan I am wearing a khaki-colored, cashmere turtleneck sweater by Avant Toi. I think I have previously mentioned my passion for cashmere... 😉.
Those of you who have been following my blog have already seen me wearing these amazingly sophisticated jeans by Vivianne Westwood, which I have found at Luxefashion 2 in Cologne. The special feature here is obviously the diagonal zipper and the great design. At this point I would like to share with you how I made them fit, as I couldn't get them in my size. I decided to buy them one size bigger than what I actually need, so I could wear them as boyfriend jeans. However, I still had to take them to the tailor in order to get it a little smaller at the waist. But I am extremely happy with them now, which is why you see me wearing them quite often.
I decided to combine this look with my brown, mid-length, leather "Bistrot" ankle boots, with the very sophisticated yellow lacquered wool-effect heel and the patent leather detail by Balenciaga.
Finally, I completed my outfit with a gorgeous, cognac-colored "Faye" bag by Chloé, which matched my boots nicely.
Et voilà , an everyday useable look which is certainly far away from being boring or monotonous 😉.
