BFW Look 2 A big Thumb up to Sequins! My second day during the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Berlin was packed with appointments and events. From a catalog photo shooting, to fashion shows and side events, we had everything covered. And as you can imagine that it was quite difficult for me to share all the exciting events with you guys on my blog while I was in Berlin, I would like to share everything with you now bit by bit.Because it would clearly be irresponsible of me to withhold any information, as well as the incredible looks that I was wearing during the fashion week from you guys 😉. So, let me mentally go back for you guys to the official starting day of the Berlin Fashion Week. After I had successfully completed all my morning schedule, it was time to get ready for the afternoon and evening events, which included the Riani and Marc Cain fashion shows. At this point I would also like to extend a large thank you to Quickcap, Toyota Germany and the hype lab agency who organized and provided us with a great shuttle service which took us to all our events and appointments. I truly don’t know what I would have done without it! And here comes my fashionable look for that day, because I am sure that’s what you have been waiting for 😉! The creme-colored, teddy bear coat that I was wearing is by Stand. Without any doubt I can say that investing in this amazing coat was really worth it. First and foremost, the light coloring allows you to combine it in many different ways. It looks great with a nice pair of jeans, as well as with a lovely dress in case you want to wear it for a night out. Additionally, it will keep you nicely warm (particularly a great feature for those of us who feel the cold easily 😉). However, the most convincing feature here is that teddy bear coats are really trendy right now! I wore this beautiful coat with a nice, stripped silk skirt which I got from Topshop. The lovely belt details in different lengths make this amazing silk skirt stand out. And I will be honest with you guys, this fashion piece has been sitting in my closet for about three months now and was waiting to be (finally) put into action.I can only say, the wait was worth it, as it matched perfectly with the breathtaking cardigan by Steffen Schraut. This wonderful, hip length, crème-colored cardigan has some lovely, coral-colored sequin applications which are shaped in semicircles. If you ask me, this is another stunning piece of fashion created by Steffen Schraut. I love how you can easily combine this lovely cardigan with many different styles, form classic chic to (my favorite) casual chic 😉. Matching the rest of my look, I decided to stick to the same color tones, choosing my accessories. This cute “Gwen” clutch, which is made of exotic stingray leather is by a cuckoo moment. You might have seen me wearing this uniquely shaped clutch in green, during the Paris Fashion Week. So, I was more than happy to discover that it was also available in this lovely coral-orange color. The cute golden chain allows you to wear this mini clutch around your wrist, in case you need both of your hand free. I was also wearing a beautiful “Zoe-Stingray-Bracelet” in the same color shades, decorated with amazing gemstones by a cuckoo moment. This cute piece of jewelry harmonized nicely with the rest of my accessories, as well as my entire look. And in order to spice it up a little more, I added a really cool striped belt with tiger head décor on the side from Gabriele Frantzen to my look. Last but not least, my beloved white “Ride” leather ankle boots by Kurt Geiger completed my style nicely. I hope you enjoyed reading my blog and all the insights that I shared with you from the Mercedes Benz Berlin Fashion Week. Stay tuned for more to come on Blondwalk.com!
