Good morning lovelies!

Today I would like to present to you a look that is very dear to me, as it contains pieces of two of my favorite German designers: Steffen Schraut and Dawid Tomaszewski.

I have so much respect and appreciation for these two guys. Not only due to the fact that they are both so very talented, and they design incredibly beautiful fashion, but also because they are amazing human beings.

I have styled today’s look around this beautiful grey turtleneck sweater by Steffen Schraut. And until this day I am truly regretting that I didn’t buy it in more different colors. Not only because it is so versatilely combinable, but also because it feels so amazing on your skin. I love the pleated sleeves on this sweater!

In the past, I have also styled this gorgeous grey sweater with flared jeans and a flared skirt.

However, today I wanted to show you how you can also create an amazing look by combining it with a cute pencil skirt.

Even though I am not really a big fan of dresses and skirts in general, for some reason I feel a little different about pencil skirts. Wouldn’t you agree that they spread some kind of sex appeal and confidence? And maybe even a little bit of authority, but most definitely a lot of elegance!

Anyway, personally I certainly prefer pencil skirts over miniskirts.

And by the way, this particular pencil skirt by Gianfranco Ferre can be considered a real vintage piece, as it has been part of my wardrobe for approximately 10 years now. But see, this is why I always say it is good (and important) to clean up your closet once in a while, but never ever get rid of your fashion treasuries!

There are pieces that will never go out of style and those are the ones you should definitely hold on to. But then there are others that might have been trendy at some point in time and you maybe even think “what was I thinking when I purchased this piece”, but don’t be too premature to throw things away.

Enough said about ways of cleaning up your closet, and back to the important things in life 😉.

In order to spice up my look a little, I deliberately decided to wear it with this cute short jacket in “Bauhaus” pattern by Dawid Tomaszewski. The sophisticated details here are the flared sleeves and the spaced out waist belt. By combining these pieces in this manner the entire look appears a little more playful and casual at the same time.

To complete my look I have styled it with these super cool patent high heels by Kurt Geiger. Graduating from dark navy to pale blue towards the toe, these heels with their ombré optics are great eye catchers!

I hope I was able to inspire you with today’s look again and that you enjoyed reading my blog.

By the way, a small selection of the Dawid Tomaszewski collection will also be available on Blondwalk.com! So stay tuned and I will of course keep you posted 😉.
