When I look at the pictures of this look, it brings back memories. During our stay in Paris at the lovely Indigo Paris, we coincidentally met Faisal, who is a stylist from the UAE and when I was wearing this outfit, he told us that he had been watching us and that he particularly loved this outfit the most.
This layering look might be a little extravagant for some people; however, if you ask me, I would say this is one of the best ones, I have ever styled.
I would like to start with the black trousers by Balenciaga, which is at least seven years old. Nevertheless, I can say that buying these trousers was probably one of the best investments I have made, as they are chic and timeless.
I would argue that having enough basics in one’s wardrobe is a necessity in order to be able to style outstanding outfits, especially if they contain extraordinary items. Over the trousers, I am wearing an asymmetric pleated skirt by Liviana Conti, which I have combined with a sleeve-less, nude colored blouse with protrude front-pockets by Balossa.
I cannot say it often enough, if you have not checked out this brand’s collection, you totally should! I do not know any other brand that designs as sophisticated pieces as this one does. Moreover, I have combined this wonderful blouse with a black vegan leather harness belt by Marina Hoermanseder, which added a little bit of edginess to my look.
Finally, I have styled a lovely nude-colored leather coat by Liviana Conti, which completed my layering outfit perfectly. I decided to wear a Fendi x Fila clutch with my outfit, which I feel like matched nicely in terms of colors, especially with the two-toned pumps by Francesco Russo, which I got from Biondini Paris.
