Good morning my dear ones!
Today’s blogpost is dedicated to another one of my favorite designers – Dries van Noten.
When I saw this stunning dress, I simply couldn’t resist! I had to have it!
So, there we are again on the topic – Belgian designers.
Dries van Noten was born into a family of tailors, his father was a haberdasher, and his grandfather a tailor. So, you could say that fashion was running in the family.
Dries van Noten established his label in 1987 and since 1993 his fashion pieces have been presented on the fashion shows of the world.
The fashion he creates is characterized by ethnic-folkloric colors and patterns. In July of this year a great documentary film was released, which is high on my must-watch list.
The unostentatiously spangled A-line dress that I am wearing is a true allrounder. It can be worn during the day with flats, or for a night out, then with elegant sandals or high heels.
I am also wearing a casual oversize jeans jacket by Mother which I have discovered at Jades in Düsseldorf.
The cute nude-colored slippers are from Zara. I came across these sweet shoes during one of my shopping tours and I really liked the slight oriental touch that they radiate.
The Debutant sunglasses that I am wearing are from Le Specs and truly one of my favorite ones. Particularly because they nicely cover eye rings or tiredness and they look fabulous at the same time 😉.
I hope you enjoyed reading my blog and stay tuned for the next blogpost on Blondwalk.com!
