T SHIRT : LOOKABE X BLONDWALK - HERE
“Dress like you’re already famous”! Well, why not?!
Wouldn’t you agree that we all want to feel special and are somehow seeking for some sort of attention, regardless of gender.
And there is the funny thing, when we are talking about attention from our opposite sex, majority of the time it is because there is some sort of physical attraction involved.
For this reason, I always prefer it when my fellow-ladies look a little closer, because then I can be sure that the focus is on my outfit, rather than on my physical appearance.
Personally, I feel like there are no nicer compliments than from a fashion-savvy woman.
I mean, have you ever received a nice compliment from a woman, saying for example “I like your dress”, “nice purse”, or even “I love your outfit”? And when you have, did it not put a shy smile on your face and resulted in thinking “yes, I did something right”?
This gorgeous statement shirt from our LOOKABE x BLONDWALK capsule collection was inspired by events as just described. If you ask me, you can never go wrong with a cool statement shirt. Not only are they totally trendy, but they are also easily combinable with almost any style. You can wear them in a casual way, with jeans and sneakers, or create a casual-chic look by wearing them with a nice pair of trousers and sandals. Honestly, it is really just about how you decide to style it. Even though, some people might think t-shirts are too casual or they are only good to wear for during the day, I have to disagree here. These days you can wear them for a night out, whether you are going to a restaurant, to the theater or even to a fancy event with a red carpet. You only have to make sure you style it in a more elegant way, for instance with a silk skirt, or a blazer and nice trousers.
That is what I decided to go with for today’s look.
I am wearing some really cool black trousers by Thom Krom with my black statement shirt.
The black Sandarok studded sandals with the flat polished studs and a wrap bow around the ankle are by IRO.
Even though the leather jacket I am wearing is already a few years old, thanks to its timeless fit, I can still wear it without it looking outdated.
And on this note: ladies, please embrace, compliment and empower each other! Women already have enough hurdles to overcome and we would make our lives much easier if we supported!
