Good morning my dear ones!
I guess you could call today’s look “50 shades of grey” 😉. Personally, I think grey is a great color, as it always appears elegant and cool at the same time.
I found this beautiful grey suite, as well as the amazing grey glen-checked trench coat at the Strenesse store in Cologne.
The beautiful grey sweater, which I am wearing underneath, is made of merino wool and is nicely figure-hugging.
I guess I wanted to show with this style that a business look does not have to be boring or even bourgeois.
All you need is a little bit of imagination. By adding a sweater, like I did, you create a modern-chic look. If you chose to wear a long sweater you can even create a nice layering-look 😉. Ét voila, your business look will not appear boring at all.
If you ask me, the glen-checked trench coat is the center piece of this look, and I personally believe it is absolutely stunning.
And please keep in mind that checked pieces are a must have this fall / winter season!
The beauty of this trench coat is that it looks great weather you wear it with a suite or in a more casual way with jeans.
In order to complete my “50 shades of Grey” business look I have combined it with a beautiful off-white colored shopper, made of plaited leather. It is amazingly spacious and offers lots of room for all kinds of “women’s stuff”, and guess what, you could even fit a laptop in it. I mean, if you really want to keep it professional 😉.
The white v-cut vintage pumps are from Urban Outfitters and add a little more chic to this look.
