Hi lovelies!
I have mentioned before that I am totally obsessed with the pajama and kimono looks.
Maybe by now you might even think that I can’t live without the PJ look anymore. Well, you are somehow right about that!
And the ironic fact here is that I don’t even wear pajamas in bed, I prefer t-shirts and shorts.
So, thank God that wearing pajamas in public is suitable for daily use these days!
Whether you wear them during the day with some cool slippers or sneakers or for a night out, combined with sexy high heels or sandals, PJs are totally trendy and stylish.
So, believe me, I will take advantage of this current trend as long as I can, because in my fashion ranking, pajamas and kimonos come right after an iconic pair of jeans.
So, if you ask me, if I would choose a PJ look over, for instance a dress… my answer is YES to the PJ.
Combined in the right way, you can create a more causal-sexy look in a pajama than a dress. And the big plus here is that you will not feel squeezed and won’t have any space to breath or even eat or move 😂.
Also, I can guarantee you one more thing, you will definitely attract attention. And let’s be honest, that’s what we want when we get ready and put so much effort in our styling and makeup.
Keep in mind, sexy doesn’t always have to mean “super tight” and conspicuous. If you ask me, modest elegance and fashionable eye-catchers are sometimes more, or at least as good as super tight sexy dresses.
The lovely purple and amber printed pajama look that I am wearing is by Amène, which is a luxurious loungewear brand.
The Calm Confrontations silk pajama set contains of a button up silk shirt and the matching pants.
The designer behind the brand, Fatima Masud, graduated from London College of Fashion and attended Central Saint Marins. While she was working on her fashion degree, she also worked on a project with Faustine Steinmetz and had offers from designers such as Alexander McQueen and Tom Ford. However, she preferred to return to Pakistan and start her own brand.
There is a short story that I would like to share concerning these Calzature Donna Vinile sandals are by Miu Miu.
I was at the Miu Miu store in Düsseldorf and couldn’t decide whether to get this pair in blue or transparent. Then the lovely Maria came to my rescue and helped me picking these beauties! Then it turned out that Maria is also a fashion blogger and I truly love her styles. Check out her Instagram @fashionstylistmb 😉.
On that note, cheers to shoe shopping and meeting new lovely people!
Let’s get to the icing on the cake – the Louis Vuitton x Frank Gehry Twisted Box bag!
Frank Owen Gehry is a Canadian-born American architect and designer, whose buildings have become world-renowned attractions. He was also the mastermind behind the Louis Vuitton Foundation in Paris, which probably explains their creative collaboration for this cutie.
I know, it is a really tiny bag, but it matched nicely with my look and you have to admit, it is an eye-catcher (another one 😉).
